Camping and Campsite

Tir Bach is a small quiet family friendly campsite with limited pitches, If your looking for a place to unwind, relax and kick off your shoes while watching the wildlife and gazing at the night sky over dancing flames of a camp fire you really won't go wrong with us!

We feel that as a family of keen campers new and retired, we know and can provide that perfect and special place for you by taking the best bits of our past experiences, your recommendations and pulling them all together to create Tir Bach Farm. We have listened and read your great reviews over the past years and have implemented improvements based on them.

Camping Pitches

Welsh campsite in Pembrokeshire We have a main field with camping pitches that have been terraced and levelled for a better night's sleep. Our large pitches are 14m x 10m or 19m x 10m with small pitches for small tents 6m x 12m. We do not charge for any extras you wish to bring. There is also a limited number of secluded pitches, away from the main area, in the hay meadow and hay fields, (advanced booking recommended). New tracks have been laid to each pitch in the main area for easier access during wet weather,

(We are working on better access to the secluded pitches, but currently they are only a short walk from the track and will not cause any difficulty).

Our Facilities

Best campsite Wales Pembrokeshire We are proud to offer excellent shower and toilet facilities that are cleaned daily. There is a good, constant flow of hot water throughout the day, which is included in your nightly rate. We have separate male and female toilet areas with sinks and 5 large enclosed shower cubicles with a drop down seat, duck board and area to change.

We also have a good dish washing area with washing machine, tumble dryer, fridges and freezers for your convenience.

We can charge all your electrical items inc. Phones, laptops, Tablets etc. in the safety of the farm house for a small fee.

Campsite Fires

Camping Fires Wales Pembrokeshire We allow controlled campfires via fire-pits or you can use our communal camp fire at the bottom of the main area and enjoy your evening meeting new people and socialising. FREE fire wood is available from the woods (Self Service) or if you're not up to lugging wood up after your day of adventures, you can just purchase a good sized crate of seasoned wood from the farm.

Pizza Oven

Camping onsite take away pizza We have a real wood fired pizza oven which can be a real treat on your holidays. We supply all you need including Italian pizza base, tomato sauce and cheese; all you need to bring is your favorite toppings. The oven was hand made by Ash & Rose and really does make the best pizzas in no time at all. The oven is supervised from 6-8 and we advise you to book your kits on arrival or beforehand.

Come Rain or Shine (The Barn)

Wet nights camping under shelter in our barn You have access to our hay barn all summer to shelter you from those odd rainy nights or days where you can still enjoy your camping holiday under shelter with friends and family. We have old chapel pews and tables to use and a fire/chiminea to keep you warm, as well as a BBQ & Pizza Oven. The pizza oven will be fired up twice a week for a pizza night when you can purchase fresh Italian dough and toppings to make your very own special camping pizza that we will cook with you in the wood fired stone oven. The barn is large and thhere is plenty of space with games to keep the kids entertained.

Kids on the Farm

Childrens park on campsite Pembrokeshire There is a small children's play area in sight of all the main pitches, a small ball court with basketball net, Pool room and Table Tennis in the hay barn and a massive chalk board, plus plenty of space to run wild and explore with woodlands and fields to search out insects and bugs.

We hold the odd evening with story telling and bushcraft days in the summer holidays when possible. Check for details and dates.

Just spent 2 nights there with 2 boys, 6 and 7. Little Gem of a site which the kids loved. Pitches are close to all facilities/play area/farm area/covered barn/penned animals/goose & duck area giving it a cosy and safe feeling. We walked round together at first but after that I felt they were completely safe to wander around or use play area on their own. More importantly, they felt safe. They couldn't get lost and knew where everything was straight away. Just a conversation with them not to hassle the chickens and turkey that wander around freely and I was completely at ease with them exploring

Tir Bach is probably the best campsite we have ever visited. From the glorious views to the friendly farm animals every element has been carefully thought out by the owners. The little details (like the barn with fairy lights, table tennis, pizza oven) make a real difference but the essentials are great too - good, clean showers/toilets, a place to wash up and fridges/freezers for storage. The magic lies in the atmosphere at Tir Bach with campers gathering every evening around the communal campfire to toast marshmallows and the daily visit to each tent from Terry the rare breed turkey. Magic!

We stayed for a week at Tir Bach and had a lovely time, so much so our eldest daughter (4) was really upset to go home. Good spacious pitches with a fantastic view of the Preselli Hills, a few farm animals wandering about and one of the clearest and starriest night skies make this a fabulous location especially for young families who seemed to make up the majority of campers. Being there for a week we saw them come as we saw them go and pretty much everybody was a couple with small children. The facilities were good to excellent, fridges and freezers were a huge plus and the washing up area too.

A truly fabulous campsite!. I cannot wait to go back! Despite all the rain we had, we just loved this site so much we went twice!!. Our pitch was right next to the park, which was a dream for me, being my first camping adventure alone with my two young daughters (3 & 6) I could keep an eye on them from my tent, saying that, the site felt safe enough for them both to wonder over to the Geese and pigs on their own. The toilets and showers were always very very clean, with plenty of information on things to see and do in the area.. There were a couple of kitchen sinks attached to the shower/toilet block, to clean up your pots n pans etc, along with a fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.. There were fresh goose eggs for sale every morning, but be quick

This is a great rural campsite hidden away down some tiny lanes. The owners were extremely friendly and were happy to show us their rare breeds of pigs and goats. While small, the campsite has fantastic amenities, with showers, fridge, toaster and a washing machine (should you require them) as well as detailed information on the local area. And it has a communal fire, to boot. We would definitely go back!
