The property was a dairy farm until the summer of 2003 and was run organically. The farm’s 26 acres have become a magnet for wildlife and birds. We grow natural meadow hay in the fields next to the camping areas, where wild flowers thrive, just as they do in the woodland and hedgerows. You will see many birds here including the Red Kite, Buzzards and the beautiful Swallows which return year after year. Some of the Swallows like to nest in the shower block; where you can watch their comings and goings from just a few feet away.

Our aim is to develop the farm into a small retreat for anyone wishing to escape far from the hustle and bustle of city life or, just to relax and enjoy this peaceful green space.

Friendly animals on the farm includes, 2 Shetland ponies, a mule, goats, pigs, geese, a turkey, chickens, ducks, cows and the farm dogs. We have a large barn for wet days and events, inside is a BBQ, Chiminea, and table tennis campers may use. The wood fired pizza oven is also in the barn, which is lit up to 3 times a week for you to make and cook your own pizza. What used to be the old milking parlor has been converted into showers, toilets and a washing up area

There is very little light pollution here, so if you are interested in star gazing this is the ideal place to see our galaxy and beyond.

On this website you will find pages with information on our campsite and yurt holidays and information on the local area.
