Top twelve cool camping sites for kids by Clover Stroud best for in-betweeners @ No 7
"The chilled-out vibe here is certainly something to do with Ashley and Roze the owners who moved here from Bristol to pursue their dream of running a smallholding and family site in Wales. It's brilliantly situated for local beaches and castles, so entertaining children of pretty much any age shouldn't be a problem. Times online

Cool Campsites for Kids 2009
"We sincerely hope you don't get lost in snaking lanes that twist and turn their way towards the mellow spot that is Tir Bach Farm. But we promise that once you've finally found this farmland site, you'll never want to leave. And you'll find plenty to have a laugh about there, too."

"We have just returned from a truly wonderful week's stay in the carved Yurt @ Tir Bach Farm. The site is in a beautiful, peaceful location. The Yurt was excellent and in particular the woodburning stove was a boon given the almost incessant rain for most of the week. Our two young boys enjoyed the complete freedom of games on the site with new friends in the pouring rain. The shower block was brilliant - fridge for yurts to share, wonderful warm showers for free and the daily charm of four fledgling swallows just inside the eaves. Although we didn't make use of it, the BBQ inside the barn was also a great idea.
Wonderful - can't wait to go back. Would recommend for peace, quiet and comfort - just remember your wellies!

"This Camp Site was fantastic and i will be recommending it to friends."
We went for 2 nights, upon our arrival we were greeted by the owners and the dogs who are so playful. We had any pitch we wanted. The camp area was very clean with the best showers I've ever seen on a camp site, I know everyone keeps going on about them on the comments but they are GREAT. We had a look at the Yurts and wished we had booked them, they were a from home but without the loo's, but they are not far away. On the second night we had high winds and rain, the owner who are so helpful offered us the barn for shelter until the winds calmed, we did and the next thing they turned up in the barn with a BBQ. And all the fuel we needed. This was just so NICE. Pat on the backs for the owners and if we didn't have to travel 6 hours to get there we would all go again.
Thank you very much for making it the best 2 nights before I got married CHEERS.
